Bangkok — Conversation Guide
We were in a situation where conversations kept getting deferred because nobody quite knew how to start them. The guide gave us a structure to follow without feeling clinical about it. It took us three sessions spread across two weeks to work through the relevant sections, which felt about right.

Sukhumvit — Document Workshop
I attended the workshop with my mother-in-law. The facilitator was patient and did not rush any section. We left with a labeling system that both of us can maintain, which was the main thing we needed. The four hours went quickly.

Thonglor — Reading Series
I subscribed to the reading series when we were trying to work through some household changes. The monthly pace was comfortable — not overwhelming, and easy to discuss with my partner. The third installment on what goes unsaid was particularly striking. Good choice of sources throughout.

Phrom Phong — Conversation Guide
The guide is honest about what it is — a framework for conversations, not advice. That boundary is clear and I found it reassuring. The writing is plain and easy to follow without being condescending. A couple of the sections were less relevant to our household but they were easy to skip.

Ekkamai — Document Workshop
I was not sure a half-day session would be enough time but it was exactly right. The small group format made it easy to ask questions without feeling like we were slowing anyone down. We came home with a labeled folder system and actually used it the same evening.

Silom — Reading Series
Subscribed on a recommendation from a colleague. I had low expectations if I'm honest — reading series often feel padded. This one does not. Each installment is a manageable length, and the discussion sheet gives you something specific to talk about rather than a general prompt. The postage and printing quality are both good.

Case Studies
How specific households used our materials
Case Study 01 — Conversation Guide
CHALLENGE
A household of four adults — two parents and two adult children — needed to work through a planned change in living arrangements. Conversations kept stopping before they reached anything concrete, partly because nobody wanted to be seen as pushing the discussion forward.
APPROACH
They ordered the Family Conversation Reading Guide and worked through chapters 2 and 4 together over three sessions across two weeks. The structured prompts gave each person a natural turn to speak without it feeling like a mediated meeting.
OUTCOME
By the third session, the household had a written record of agreed arrangements for the transition. One member described the guide as giving them "a place to stand while we talked." The living arrangement change took place on a clear, agreed timeline.
"We had been going in circles for months. The guide did not solve anything — it just gave us somewhere to put the conversation so it did not keep disappearing."
Case Study 02 — Document Workshop
CHALLENGE
An older household had accumulated roughly 15 years of unsorted paperwork in two large boxes. When a document was needed — ownership papers, insurance records — it typically required two to three hours of searching. They had tried to sort things on their own several times but had not found a system that stuck.
APPROACH
Both household members attended the half-day workshop. The session introduced a category-based labeling system suited to Thai household paperwork. The facilitator worked through each category with them, and they practiced sorting a sample set of documents during the session.
OUTCOME
They applied the system to their two boxes over the following weekend. The system has been in use for six months. They report that finding a document now takes under five minutes in most cases, and the system has been added to rather than replaced during that time.
"The workshop was practical. We did not talk about what the documents mean — we talked about where to put them. That was exactly what we needed."
Case Study 03 — Reading Series
CHALLENGE
A couple in their forties described their household communication as functional but thin. Things got handled, but not discussed. During a period when both were dealing with changes at work, they wanted something that would give them a shared reference point and a reason to talk in a structured way.
APPROACH
They subscribed to the full reading series. Each mailing was read individually and then discussed using the discussion sheet, usually on a weekend morning. They went at different speeds for some installments and used the glossary more than expected.
OUTCOME
Both completed all five installments. They described the series as having changed the texture of certain conversations — not in a dramatic way, but in how quickly they found shared language for things that had previously stayed unspoken. They retained all five sets of printed materials.
"It gave us something to read together that was not news or social media. That alone was worth it. The content was genuinely interesting."
